This was the first home I have had designed and built specifically for me and, thanks to Mike, it was a terrific experience. I did a great deal of research on home design and construction and came up with a number of ideas that I wanted Mike to incorporate. Mike listened to me patiently and then proceeded to implement or improve on the good ideas and gently talk me out of the not-so-good ones. He came up with a beautiful design that includes a striking exterior with gables and columns and an equally stunning interior with soaring ceilings, exposed wood beams and a central stone fireplace in the great room. My home has brought countless compliments from friends, neighbors and even strangers passing by. I enthusiastically and unequivocally recommend Michael York to anyone embarking on the construction of a new custom home.
